- Tuesday: Raetihi / Ohakune
- Wednesday: Taumarunui
- Thursday: Te Kuiti/ Piopio
- Saturday: Taumarunui
If these days are not suitable we will work with you to find a time that works.
Two x 1 Hour Sessions
Get Set Drive Driving Lessons are for those on their learners license. The lessons are catered to each learner's needs to grow their driving skills, prepare them for their restricted license test and grow confidence and make their priority 'safety on our roads'.
First Lesson
We’ll kick things off with a hands-on introduction to your vehicle. We’ll guide you through the different parts of the car, why they matter, and teach you some basics for checking your car’s safety before hitting the road.
SESSION BREAKDOWN
1. Briefing (10 Minutes)
We’ll start each session with a quick chat about your driving experience, what you’re working on, and what you want to improve. Together, we’ll set a plan for the day to make the most of our time.
2. On the Road (40 Minutes)
Practice Makes Perfect. We’ll help you build skills step-by-step, covering essentials like steering, signaling, shoulder checks, and slow-speed maneuvers. As you get comfortable, we’ll work up to trickier skills, such as lane changes, roundabouts, and eventually things like motorway driving and night driving.
3. Wrap-Up and Feedback (10 Minutes)
Recap: After each session, we’ll review what went well and pinpoint areas for improvement.
Next Steps: We’ll talk about your practice plan and outline a path forward as you work toward your restricted or full license.
